Letter From Pastor Jim

Hello to all,
First of all I would like to give a shout out to all those who attended our Sunday morning service in person and watched online through our first ever attempt at streaming live. We will stream our Service at 10 am on Sunday as well on Facebook Live.  Then it will be posted on our web site later in the week: newhopechristiancenter.com and go to Podcast.
As I shared on Sunday we will be changing the way we do things based upon the changing information and stipulations regarding the Coronavirus.
Well it didn’t take long and I don’t think I need to go into the details but based upon the new restrictions we have decided to cancel all activities until the bans are lifted. However, we are looking for creative ways to continue to connect with one another. The youth will be ‘meeting’ this Wednesday night via Zoom which is basically a conference call. We are planning on having the Sunday morning messages pre-taped and available on Sunday mornings for viewing.
For those of you who are a part of our Life Groups I encourage you to continue to reach out to one another, if your regular meeting night was Tuesday night, then maybe take some time that evening to reach out to others in the group.
I believe that it is very important to continue to stay connected with one another, especially during these trying times. Remember, church is not a building that you go to, it is a family that you belong to.

Sincerely,

Pastor Jim
