Letter From Pastor Jim

Hello New Hope Family!
I hope that you are all doing well during these trying times. Because of the constantly changing stipulations placed upon us due to the Coronavirus we are constantly altering our plans on how to continue our operations as smoothly as possible.
First and foremost I would like to encourage you to continue to live your lives as normal as possible, things are going to be different but I do believe that if we stay the course and do what the CDC and the Spokane Public Health District recommend, we will get through this sooner than later. Social isolation in not the answer unless you have symptoms or have been in contact with someone who does. Be smart, be proactive but do not live in fear.
As a close knit community, we are used to seeing one another on a regular weekly basis, whether in small groups during the week or on a Sunday morning in service. It seems very strange to not have the opportunity to see all of you and share a hug, a smile and an encouraging word. I must say, I miss my family! We should feel a void during these times, so we need to do our best to reach out to one another, when someone pops into your head and you wonder how they are doing, instead of just thinking about it, REACH OUT! A quick text or a phone call can do wonders for your mind and soul, and for the mind and soul of your brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas and sons and daughters in the Lord.
The following are a few dates that you should note:
Sunday March 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Belinda and I will be at the church if you would like to pick up directories, tithing/giving envelopes or drop off project share supplies. We would love to invite you to join us on Facebook live this Sunday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. Angela will be doing some worship songs and following that Larry will be delivering this week’s message.
